BULGARI
LOS ANGELES
INTERIORS
The portal of Rome’s Via dei Condotti, the travertine columns, the double height, the atmosphere: Bvlgari speaks of Rome in Los Angeles, bringing a sense of balance, openness, and dialogue with the urban fabric, engaging with the city decisively, establishing a relationship that is both intentional and meaningful.
Rich, golden materials reference Bvlgari’s history, its foundational values, visual codes, and an aesthetic that is light, refined, and warm. Travertine, marble, brass, and precious stones: the materials themselves tell the story.
Sculptural tables embody the value of presence and spatial equilibrium. Lightness, transparency, and the interplay of light and shadow are found throughout the volumes and spatial composition of the double-height interior, in the grand staircase filtered through prismatic elements, and in the facade, impeccably designed and explored in depth here. On the upper level, a stunning backlit translucent onyx wall features display cases that appear suspended, part artwork, part sculpture, almost metaphysical in their presence.
The display cases themselves represent work of particular importance and significance: each case is coherent with the common language of the interiors yet distinguished by specific characteristics and by in-depth, detailed study of light, with the ultimate aim of making the jewellery shine, illuminating each piece as a small work of art.
The lighting has been designed to weave into this narrative, following its rhythm, accentuating and softening, better defining volumes, enhancing the materials in their uniqueness through the highest quality light sources with focused, controlled beams. Light gives life to the written story, allowing it to shine complete.
