Showcase in Dior Jewelry Store

September 30, 2022

The end of summer welcomes the beginning of autumn: a time of transition from one season to another, which also means going back to work, with new energy and new inspiration. That makes it also the ideal time to meet with colleagues for exchanging ideas, approaches and dreams of… innovations.

In the next few weeks, there are numerous #backtowork events, conferences, fairs and roundtables worldwide. Metis Lighting team members will participate in some of them actively and share all new experiences: Darc Sessions in Mykonos, Greece, and Light + Building in Frankfurt, Germany.

At the Darc Sessions event (Oct. 18-20), which itself promotes awareness around light, we have been invited to bring our research and reflections on a new design approach that is particularly close to our principles: a nature centric lighting design. We have already mentioned this in a short article on our blog, where we talked about the importance for indoor and outdoor lighting interventions paying particular on their impact versus the environment around us, and of which we are an integral part. We continued to advocate on this matter also during the XX National AIDI Congress, that was held in Naples in June this year.

We can’t wait to meet more lighting manufacturers and colleagues for broadening the audience around this issue, which is becoming always more relevant.

In Frankfurt, the Light + Building Autumn Edition (Oct. 2-6) will see meetings between lighting manufacturers presenting their new ideas to lighting designers, architects, and other lighting professionals and will discuss, give feedbacks and insights on the last innovations of the field.

After the pandemic, this is the first time that Light + Building is organizing, alongside a digital platform, the opportunity to be together again in presence.

Meeting again colleagues, manufacturers, architects, clients and lighting professionals is a source of great joy for us, and we can only be happy, excited, and energized for this new Fall Season.
