Lighting Designer

We are looking for talented and passionate lighting designers to join our team. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic about their work. They should enjoy collaborating in large teams, sharing ideas, and bringing fresh perspectives to projects. The role involves working on lighting design from initial concept to final execution, cooperating smoothly and with a positive attitude with the Metis large multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate is in line with the following requirements:

– Architecture, Design or Engineering degree
– Lighting Design Master’s Degree or Specialization Course in the field
– Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the design field
– Fluent English, both spoken and written
– Proficiency in Italian will be considered a preferred requirement
– Creative attitude, attention to detail, helpful and enthusiastic

Software expertise required (daily use):

– Microsoft Office full package, Outlook, Microsoft365
– Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
– Advanced Autocad and DIALux skills
– Nice to have: Revit, Relux, 3DS Max, Rhinoceros, Solidworks, VRay

The ideal candidate will support the team by:

– Collaborating with the design team to develop ideas and concepts
– Taking an active role in lighting design from concept to execution
– Completing assignments on time with attention to all project details
– Cooperating smoothly and maintaining a positive attitude

Place of work:

Metis Lighting offices are in Milan
Travel to meetings or job sites worldwide may be required.
